Who certifies the resume writers?
The certified resume writers listed here are certified by the certifiedresumewriter.org approved panel of experienced resume writers.

How do you make the assessments?
We ask applicants to provide 5 samples (before and after) of (a variety of) resumes you have worked on. The variety should include an executive resume, a career change resume, a student resume, a entry level resume and a resume of your choice. Our panel then makes the assessment based on the quality of your work and the improvements made. Approval for membership will only be given if you can demonstrate work to a high standard.


Do you have any association with any other certifying body?
We do not have, or claim to have any association with any other certifying organization.

Can anyone be listed?
We are not a closed shop and any resume writer is free to apply, however we do have a strict set of standards which must be achieved before we consider listing a resume writer. Please note that even if you are an experienced resume wrier there is no guarantee you will be approved for membership. We only approve membership to resume writers who can demonstrate work to a high standard

Does it cost anything to apply?
There is a small administration fee ($75) for this assessment. We deliberately ask for this as it takes time to assess each application and the fact that there is a small fee helps ensure we only get serious applications. Please note that even if you are an experienced resume writer there is no guarantee you will be approved for membership

Are there any membership fees thereafter?
If approved for membership then membership fees are $395 per year which includes advertising your services on our website and the use of our logo on your own website and promotional material.

Cancellation of Membership
You can cancel your membership at anytime without recompense by sending us an email requesting cancellation. Under rare circumstances we also reserve the right to cancel the membership of any member at anytime without recompense or prior notice.

Renewals
Once approved for membership you can renew your membership annually without the need for further assessment.


Can you guarantee me extra work?
Whilst advertising on our website and the use of our logo in your promotional material may lead to more orders for you, we do not make any claims to guarantee you extra work
