Anyone can apply to CertifiedResumeWriter.org is for membership. However we recommend you read the following before applying.

Requirements
Once you have experience as a resume writer you can apply for membership to CertifiedResumeWriter.org. All applications are reviewed by our panel of experienced resume writers and you will be required to pass a practical exam. Those which are approved are then eligible for membership.

Important: Whilst anyone can apply we have strict standards and will only approve resume writers who achieve these high standards. There is no point applying if you do not have significant talent and experience as a resume writer.

Newcomers to Resume Writing
If you are not yet a professional resume writer we do not recommend you apply because even if you have natural talent as a writer you also need experience to become a good resume writer. If you want to learn from a top professional please view the special Certified Resume Writer course which is run by a top resume writer.

Applying
If after reading the above you still wish to apply then please contact us with details of your experience. If it sounds like you have enough experience we will invite you to take the exam for our panel to assess. Please note there is a small administration fee ($75) for this assessment. We deliberately ask for this as it takes time to assess each application and the fact that there is a small fee helps ensure we only get serious applications. Please note that even if you are an experienced resume writer there is no guarantee you will be approved for membership. We suggest you read our Resume Writer FAQ's before you apply
